This week I'm grateful for... Fly & Insect Spray.

What can I say?
With the heat, rain, heat, rain, heat-wave we've been having for the past few weeks, the creepy-crawlies are in need of somewhere awesome to live.
Unfortunately, that awesome place they wish to live is our house.

I am used to finding random bugs around,
Walking through webs,
Sucking the corpses of several flies up the vacuum,
BUT - something that even I am not used to - is the massive huntsmans(men?) that have been known to get into my house.

What makes it worse, is, I was on my way to bed, completely exhausted to the point I could not move the moment I flopped onto my bed, and I spotted one.
On the mirrored doors of my wardrobe.
What is worse than one huntsman?
A mirrored huntsman, that looks like two hunstmans(men?)

Anyway, I'm sleeping with one eye opened, it never moved.
I must have felt somewhat relaxed/tired as I vaguely recall waking to change a nappy, to notice the spider was gone.
It clearly didn't phase me, or I was too tired to understand the implications, but the minute the daylight seeped into my window I looked straight up and noticed it missing.
I searched every corner of my bedroom to no avail.

SHITBALLS.

What is worse than a mirrored huntsman?
A mirrored huntsman that goes MISSING.
I couldn't leave the room quick enough.
Did a run through of my whole house, checking potential hiding spots, when I could not find it,
I'd spray the shiznit out of the rooms with Insect spray.

Yeee-hawwww.!
I imagine I'll find the bugger's body at a later date when I am brave enough to venture up to the "spider-y" end of the house, until then, I am incredibly grateful to have my insect spray on stand-by.

  2. I might be a bit dumb but what is a mirrored hunstman, because just the sight of a regular one is enough to send me screaming from the room! Hope you find it soon x
