Google+ and why I feel six years old.

It seems there is an online phenomenon I am not a part of. I know, I know, you're wondering 'what the hell?', too, right?
Everyone's talking about Google+.
And by 'everyone' I mean, I saw Glowless mention it on Twitter the other day.
Now, the delightful Emma who lives over here made a comment about wanting an invite whilst we were discussing lots of interesting things on Twitter this morning.
Me, being the good Samaritan I am, decided I must join in and invite her so she's happy.
Turns out, I'm not allowed to invite her, because I haven't been invited.
What the shit?
I feel as though there's an awesome birthday party with a magician making a guest appearance, and I was told by the host 'you can't come because I don't like you anymore'.

And it hurts my feelings.
So before I run to my Mummy crying that the other kids are being mean to me, can someone fucking invite me so Emma and I can have something to discuss in the sandpit other than Barbies.!?

  4. Unfortunately, even being invited won't help you at the moment - they're at capacity for this stage of the testing :(

I get so indignant when I find out people have used it, and don't like it. DELETE YOURSELF SO I CAN JOIN!

  5. I want in too, just so I can see what it's all about! I read it's going to be bigger than FB and you can keep certain people in certain circles, which would be awesome. I could then group together all the people I don't really like but keep because they're family ;)

  6. I have no idea how I got in because it was at capacity when I was invited (Dorothy from Singular Insanity) and the invite didn't come through... then about 24 hours later it did so I jumped in and it worked.
I've sent a few invites out since and NONE have come through at all, so I don't really know what I'm doing.
And Toushka is right, the sand pit is shit at the moment. The sand is too new and cold... need a kid to wee in it and a cat to shit in it before it's actually fun to play in. Or have I taken the analogy too far?

  8. Haha! I'm just worried it will be one more thing I won't keep up with! My poor FB is seriously neglected since Twitter came along and changed my life!
But I still wanna see what it's all about!
