Sunday Selections

Master S. is having a sleep-over with his Nana, Pa, Uncle & Aunties again. We're expecting him home today.
Obviously, I had one child for 19 months, but since I was pregnant with Miss E. when my son was 11 months old, I always considered myself a Mummy of Two. In fact, even when my son was a baby, I found it difficult to think of him as an only child, despite him, actually, being one. Maybe, I knew he'd have a sibling someday? Either way, it has actually hit me this weekend that I have one baby to look after while Master S is away. I must've been bored back when Master S. was a baby.! Not saying Miss E. is boring, but since I know that I can do my washing and in the two minutes I'm gone she won't completely trash my house, I'm in a state where I am unsure as what to do. In fact, this morning, I woke up, had a shower, gave Miss E. her Weet-Bix, gave her a bath, and then we started playing. I didn't have to do house-work because the house is as I left it before going to bed.

I am at a loss as to what to do. So, I have been chasing Miss E. around with the camera to ease some of our boredom. She's been putting on quite the show for me, trying to stand up on her own. I think she knows I need to be kept on my toes when Master S. is away so she's putting in overtime to try and fill the bustling void. What a trooper.!

Miss E. Putting on a "Concert" for me :D

  5. Aww ...! I had no 'misses', only two boys so I can understand the bustling part! LOL! Sounds like a daughter might have been more restful. As it was, I let the housework go hang while I played with my boys or took them out. Housework will always be with you but babies grow so fast!!
