My Place & Yours

I haven't participated in ages, which is upsetting because I have wanted to.
With the fact I am still borrowing a computer, it means I am unable to join in.
However, this week is the theme green, and I have a couple of photo's of something green in my house to share.

Yes, they are recycled, but not everyone has seen them.

Yurtle the baby Turtle is green, and he's in my house.

*Head on over to Hello Owl and play "My Place & Yours" every Tuesday.

My Place & Your's

This post is part of "My Place & Yours", which is hosted by Danielle at Hello Owl. Every Tuesday she asks us where a certain item is in our home, and this week she wants to see my stash... my READING stash. I am baring my soul here, people. I would like to warn everyone that my book collection is large and unco-ordinated, so I have decided to take a photo of the book I am currently reading, and a photo of the books I have read recently, and would also like to warn that the books I have read "recently" are not all the books I have read recently... unfortunately, I have blogged in the past about the vicious cycle of reading Virginia Andrews' novels, and unfortunately, I am back to where I started.

The book I'm reading now...

Some of the books I've read recently...

I do read more than this during the day. In fact, I can read anywhere up to 10 books [multiple times] per day. But... they look a little something like this:

I know majority of these books off by heart. Go me.!

You are probably curious how I manage to read so much with two kidlets, whilst battling it out with my housework, and I have to say until recently I stopped reading altogether. I made no time for it, and my brain turned to mush, so I have included it into our routine, so I can keep my mind active. Master S reads quietly during the day [without my help] so I can read a chapter, whilst giving his sister a feed. Then I will help them read, and continue my book after they are asleep. I read quickly. I absorb and enjoy books a lot more, the quicker I read it, oddly enough.!

Make sure you head on over to Hello Owl and link up with My Place & Yours.!

My Place & Your's

Head on over to Hello Owl where Danielle hosts "My Place & Yours" every Tuesday.
This week, she wants to know the location of our toothbrushes, so if you have a toothbrush, snap a photo of it, and link up with the rest of us!

I'm a bit of a tooth brushing nut. My tooth brush is never put back into my tooth brush holder because I often brush my teeth after doing anything that will leave my mouth tasting funky.
[This is linked to an extensive childhood history with needing braces]

There she is sitting on the edge of my hideous purple sink.
Whoever decorated my house needs to be shot.
Also, I am a firm believer in Colgate being the shiznit.
Can you tell?

My Place & Yours

Each Tuesday, Danielle at Hello Owl hosts "My Place & Yours". Where she gives us a theme, and we post photo's fitting in with the theme for the week. Head on over & join in on the fun.!

 This week's theme is: Stripes.

Now, in order to participate, I needed to search for something in my house that is stripey. My couch is "patterned", not stripey, so I had to get off my bum and look elsewhere for something that was stripey. This proved to be fun, NOT. I have nothing remotely stripey in my house. I went as far as raiding the kids' toy boxes for stripes. Master S. "helped" by holding up toys, not understanding what I was looking for, only to be met with "Nope, that's got no stripes, either". Disheartened we ended up back in the lounge-room on our way to the kitchen to find stripes, when out of no-where, my daughter Miss E. crawled to my feet and sat playing with a pair of her pants [I don't know where she got them from.!? Fate, perhaps!?].
