Sunday Selections.

Still having computer issues.
Due to the lack of photo's I am able to upload of my kidlets,
My Mum has doubled her uploads on Facebook.

So today, so I can participate with Kim at Frog Ponds Rock,
for Sunday Selections,
thanks to my Mum being the upload photo on Facebook fiend she is.

[Thanks Mum]

Master S playing with Strangles, Nana's Coastal Carpet Python.
[The cake in his hand, I shall mention in a moment!]

I was trying to make her smile to show me her tooth for a photo.
It didn't happen,
but when she was crying,
I couldn't resist to snap this, so the world could see her first tooth.
Cruel, I know.

Miss E, munching on a prawn cracker with her new tooth.

Having a nap on Nana.

Master S, Aunty Beanie, & Aunty Duckie baking blueberry muffins.
It wasn't until after they did this they realised the muffin tray wasn't at Nana's house,
it was at the Happy House,
so their muffin became a cake.

Master S after a bath due to messy muffin/cake making, playing with Strangles.
He has the cake in his hand.

Sunday Selections.

So, it would seem the Happy House is returning to normality.
Well, as much as it can.
The kidlets are nearing the end of their colds,
And I can safely say I feel 100% better.

With the kidlets feeling better,
We've taken lots of photo's.

Our lunch to symbolise the return of "Happy" to the Happy House.

Miss E, eating some Happy Faces.

Master S happy to have some Happy Faces.

Sunday Selections.

Okay, so it would seem I do a lot of interesting things on the loo.
Not just the one's and two's like most people.
This evening on the potty, mid-stream I might add, I was experiencing an itchiness on my side.
I looked down, prior experience has prepared me for the worst.
But I soon to realise it was just my tag.
Upon further inspection of the tag,
I discovered something you don't expect on a tag in your clothes:

Note: this photo was NOT taken until I had completed my business & washed my hands.
Just don't want anyone thinking I'm a grot.

*Update: Just sussed out Hubby's shirt when I realised he was wearing one, also, from Jay Jays and found this.

Sunday Selections

This weekend I have spent a fair bit of time going through my old photo's.
Miss E has very light hair, and I wanted to see whether Master S had more at that age, so decided to whip out the photo's and have a look.
They brought back some wonderful memories, and it's so hard to remember him at this age, particularly when he is swinging on my blinds. *Sigh*

Master S sporting some nice brown locks.
[Ignore the caption that says this photo was taken 11 months BEFORE he was born, it LIES.]

Miss E at approximately the same age [if not a bit older than] as Master S. was in above photo.
Clearly sporting a more lighter, fuzzy 'do.
A little bit like a baby bird.

Sunday Selections

Breakfast time was a laugh in my house this morning.
How could I not laugh and have coffee fly out of my nose at this cute/hilarious face pulling?

Sunday Selections

Master S. is having a sleep-over with his Nana, Pa, Uncle & Aunties again. We're expecting him home today.
Obviously, I had one child for 19 months, but since I was pregnant with Miss E. when my son was 11 months old, I always considered myself a Mummy of Two. In fact, even when my son was a baby, I found it difficult to think of him as an only child, despite him, actually, being one. Maybe, I knew he'd have a sibling someday? Either way, it has actually hit me this weekend that I have one baby to look after while Master S is away. I must've been bored back when Master S. was a baby.! Not saying Miss E. is boring, but since I know that I can do my washing and in the two minutes I'm gone she won't completely trash my house, I'm in a state where I am unsure as what to do. In fact, this morning, I woke up, had a shower, gave Miss E. her Weet-Bix, gave her a bath, and then we started playing. I didn't have to do house-work because the house is as I left it before going to bed.

I am at a loss as to what to do. So, I have been chasing Miss E. around with the camera to ease some of our boredom. She's been putting on quite the show for me, trying to stand up on her own. I think she knows I need to be kept on my toes when Master S. is away so she's putting in overtime to try and fill the bustling void. What a trooper.!

Miss E. Putting on a "Concert" for me :D

Sunday Selections

We spent the day at the pool, as it was [and still is] quite hot.
We slipped on our shirts, slopped on sunscreen & slapped on our hats & were ready for some fun in the sun.
And fun, was had by all.

Master S. climbing out of the pool so he can jump back in..

Miss E. impersonating her Daddy with a zinc "goatie".

Master S. doing his famous "frog" swim.

Enjoying a nice, cool swim in the pool with Nana.

Unfortunately, despite my incessant re-applying of sunscreen and zinc every half an hour, to myself as well as the kids, I managed to get sunburnt. On the face. Despite wearing my wide-brimmed hat. How does that even happen!?
