Day 08 [A photo that makes you Angry/Sad]

So, I'm watching "Wolf Creek". Whoever made this film was clearly psychotic. However, he chose the best killer when he picked John Jarratt. With sideburns and a really CREEPY laugh like he had in the film, there wasn't a doubt in my mind he was going to start shooting & stabbing British tourists. This photo creeps me out, more than it makes me "Angry or Sad", but this is my blog and if I want to post a damn picture of John Jarratt
with a really creepy predator pose, I will.!

Day 07 [A photo that makes you happy]

This is one of the many photo's I have that make me happy. It was my "Grandparent's Day" at Kindergarten. It's an old picture, and I look ridiculous, but at the time, I am sure I was very proud of both my outfit and to have a photo taken with my Poppa, who was my favourite person in the whole world.

Looking at this photo makes me feel a number of things: happiness, a little sadness, that he's no longer with us, but more than anything it makes me wish he was here to have met my children, and to accompany them to their "Grandparent's Day" at Kindergarten, but I know he's watching over us everyday, and he will be at every major event in our lives from here on, in our hearts & memories ♥

Day 06 [Whatever tickles your fancy]

So, since I can blog about whatever I want today [if you hadn't realised, I am doing one of those 30 day challenge things that I stumbled across] I have decided to blog about my pending arrival of MCN's that I bought off eBay.

I have been quite excited since the day I purchased them, and wish it didn't take so darn long for them to get here. Yeah, it's been like 3 or 4 days, but I am impatient. Sue me.!

Obviously, based on the fact that I have purchased nappies off eBay, you are aware that I have converted to full-time cloth. Miss Munchkin has not been in a disposable since the first time I tried a cloth on her, and as I have said before, I am glad we made the permanent change.

Sure, I am not looking forward to winter, as I don't have a dryer, but so far, with the heat we've been having they are dry in no time, and we're never short. Still, I purchased these because it's great to have extra's... afterall, babies and their messes are unpredictable, PLUS, they are really cute. Just looking at them makes me want to crush my lap-top to my chest in a suffocating hug.

I know I sound a weeny bit like Varuka Salt from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory but "I want [them] nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow"

Day 05 [Favourite Quote]

Now, I am sitting here, racking my brain for a quote that I would call my favourite. You have no idea how hard this is, when I am 23 years old and have heard many a quote that I like in many ways than one.

I can't say I have a favourite, because that would be picking one statement out of my whole life in which I enjoy more than any other. Considering, quotes are made in everyday speech, I am expected to sift through my whole life and pick ONE solitary statement that another person [famous or otherwise] has said, and deem it my favourite.

It's not possible for me to do this.
It's not possible for ANYONE to do this.

I will share a quote that I enjoy, not my favourite, as I don't have one.
Now, I need to sift through the many quotes I have enjoyed, or continue to enjoy over my life span, and pick just one quote to post here.

I assumed doing this would be difficult, but Mr M. has just provided me with one of the best quotes of all time.

"I need a game card".

Sure, it doesn't sound like a quote that would bring joy to anyone's lives, but for those of you who understand the quote, will understand how incredibly thrilled I am to be able to post it. A game card is required to play "World of Warcraft". An online game in which my husband has become far too involved in for my liking.

For him to say "I need a game card", means he cannot play the game until he gets one.

How delightful.!?

Day 04 [Favourite Book]

I first read "Montana 1948" in 2004.
I was in Year 11 and it was one of the books we had to study for English.
I didn't read it until halfway through the term, after weeks of doing work & essays on it. I bluffed my way through the topic, with no knowledge & figured I should, probably, lift my game, and read the book.
I completed this book in under 4 hours.
I struggled to put it down, as immediately, the words jumped out and transported me to the time & place in which the author described in the first few pages.
I have heard many people say it's dry, boring & uninteresting.
I, personally, adored it. The characters, the setting & the storyline all appealed to me. Due to the criticism I have heard the book receive by my peers & past teachers, I do not recommend it to anyone, rather than let them discover it for themselves, if they so choose. I still have my copy, which I read, & re-read, when I need to have some time alone, to enjoy something by myself. I still have the grey-lead notes on the pages from where I had to analyze the book, repeatedly, for school, but quite enjoy opening the book without having to delve too much into the language used, and having a good old read.

Day 03 [Favourite Television Show]

"In the criminal justice system, sexually based offences are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victim's Unit. These are their stories..."

                    *CHINK, CHINK*

I think anyone who truly knows me, knows that I am truly in love with Law & Order: S.V.U. What's not to love about it, seriously!? There's the crazy "chink, chink" noise throughout the show, as well as having Stabler in it.! I'd watch "Home & Away" if Stabler was in it.

NOTE: I do not mean the actor who plays Stabler. That is Christopher Meloni & I am not overly attracted to him. I like Stabler. I am aware he is a fictional character, but like Martin Luther King, I have a dream. My dream is that Stabler & I could get married... regardless of the fact he's a fictional character.

Day 02 [Favourite Movie]

Brennan: Hey Derek, you know what's good for shoulder pain?
Derek: What?
Brennan: If you lick my butt hole.

It's hard to select a favourite movie, but this one definitely ticks all the boxes & never fails to make me nearly wet myself with laughter.!

Ah, comic genius at it's best. I'm yet to meet anyone who hasn't at least giggled at some point through this film. I'd advise any dementors who haven't seen it, to rectify that situation and hire it or something.! Get the eff on it.!

Day 01 [Favourite Song]

Sweet Sixteen - Billy Idol

Not my favourite song, as I don't have one particular favourite, but it's one I have enjoyed listening to on Repeat through many a melancholy mood.
